PIVOT Magazine officially launched on October 19, 2016 in Atlanta.
Approximately 250 corporate professionals gathered at 595 North Event Center to celebrate the launch of the magazine.
Editor-in-Chief and SVP, Corporate and Strategic Partnerships, Glenda Swain addressed the audience and thanked corporate partners, PIVOT’s Corporate Advisory Board and The PIVOT Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Swain stated, “We want PIVOT to be the primary conduit by which African American corporate professionals get the career development advice they need.” “We want to create a community of like-minded professionals who are serious about their career trajectory.”
PIVOT also offers a corporate lifestyle component where readers can opt into the PIVOT Social network and get exclusive invitations to PIVOT’s social and corporate events.
PIVOT plans other launch events in New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, Dallas, and Philadelphia.
