For the past 25 years, the Institute for the Advancement of Multicultural & Minority Medicine (IAMMM), a 501 (c) (3) non profit national organization in Washington, DC has hosted the International Salute to the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The breakfast event founded by Dr. Dorothy L Height is planned under the auspices of an international committee comprised of the current Ambassadors to the United States; Presidents of the local universities; and a broad cross-section of community leaders and dignitaries who gather annually to reflect on the remarkable life of Dr. King, and recommit to continue his work and vision.
