MEMPHIS, TN–(Marketwired – August 08, 2016) – ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (SERV), a leading provider of essential residential and commercial services, today announced that Marvin Davis has been named chief marketing and strategy officer.
In his new role, Davis will oversee company strategy, including competitive intelligence, insights and analytics, as well as all marketing, pricing and business development. He’ll also play a key role in leveraging ServSmartsm, combining technology with ServiceMaster’s unmatched service network of trusted professionals — employees, technicians, contractors and franchisees — who perform the essential services that protect and maintain 75,000 homes and businesses each day.

ServiceMaster announced last year it plans to pursue new growth opportunities through digital and mobile technologies and by improving service and convenience to the millions of residential and commercial customers it serves each year.
Davis formerly served as chief marketing officer (CMO) for LifeLock, a pioneer in identity protection, threat detection and remediation services with more than 4.4 million subscribers and was part of the executive team that led the company through its successful IPO in 2012.
Previously, he was senior vice president and CMO at Comcast, the first to serve in that role at the nation’s largest cable provider, and helped build the company’s now industry-standard tiered and bundled product portfolio. He also spent several years at Verizon Wireless, where he was vice president of advertising and brand management for the nation’s largest wireless provider, launching the iconic “Can You Hear Me Now?” brand campaign and helping to grow the company’s customer base to 40 million subscribers.
Davis is a graduate of Emory University in Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He received his MBA in marketing from Clark Atlanta University.
